We’re thrilled to share the first post from the Art of Aging project! A collaboration between Marie Eaton, Sarah Lane, and Richard Scholtz, the project will produce 20 painted and audio portraits of Whatcom elders – highlighting their voices and the experiences of aging in our community. In today’s post, we hear from Dan First Scout Rowe (Duwa Togahe), who shares his story, reflects on the relationships that shaped his life, and reminds us of the power of connection to our loved ones and community.
